What the hell is wakeboarding? What is wakeboarding? As you can tell by some of the pictures on this site, wakeboarding is much like snowboarding. Only thing is you ride on water and get pulled behind a boat. So for all you people that don't know what the hell it is, that's it.
When wakeboarding you are able to attempt many different tricks. From waterspins, airspins, grabs, inverts, or just plain jumping. I myself can do about all of them, except the invert part. We're working on that this summer.

Here's a few wakeboard tips:
-Getting up
-First of all, don't try to muscle your way up. Let the boat do the work. When laying in the water leave the rope on top of the board. As the boat begins to pull, stay in a crouched position. Come over your knees as you get out of the water. As you get up, the board should turn itself the direction that it should be going. The easiest tip is, "it's like getting up on waterskis."
-Basic TS 180
-Make a slow approach towards the wake. As you near the wake stand tall. Remember to not try and spin off the wake, spin once in the air. As you get into the air, pull the handle to your left or trailing hip. Turn the board so that the tail is in the front now. This move is extremely easy. Throw in a grab if you want to make it look much cooler. |

 This is my lake. The lake we wakeboard on,
Carpenter Lake. This type of riding water
is the greatest. So peaceful. Loon Island
often gets in our way though.
